Vuelo de Los Migrantes, 2024
Craft Wire, Pony Beads, Invisible Wire, & Alligator Clips
Vuelo de Los Migrantes is a work investigating the migration of monarch butterflies. Monarchs migrate once a year for shelter and warmth. This act of migration has worldy relationships to human migration among immigrant families. These immigrant families are represented through the monarchs and showcase their plight for a better opportunity. As to the general desert, these families cross through heat and go through sacrifices to make it to their final destination.
