Los Visitantes is inspired by Pedro Linares Lopez, a Mexican artist who envisioned alebrijes. After becoming ill and suffering from high fevers, Linares Lopez dreamed that he was in a mystical land where he encountered colorful morphed animals that chanted "alebrijes" over and over again. Influenced by the colorful and vibrant alebrijes Daniela Navarro created, Los Visitantes under the branches of the majestic Chinese Zelkova.
